Plenty of variety, the freedom you need to grow
Sometimes you’re faced with a dizzying array of choices. There are tons of things you could do – but that doesn’t necessarily make it any easier deciding which of the many training alternatives is the right one for you. This training program ... that apprenticeship… So to simplify things, we sat down with the chambers of trade and industry, and employment offices, and worked out a system that will make taking the first career step much, much easier.
It sparked: Andre Schröder is certain about his apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician at ThyssenKrupp Aufzüge Deutschland GmbH.
It makes no difference whether you want a more technically-oriented career or want to move in a more “commercial” direction. An apprenticeship at ThyssenKrupp offers two components which work together perfectly: the theoretical side (mostly the part you learn at vocational college) and the practical side (on-the-job work experience, in different units, workshops, and departments within the company or at our training center). You’ll get plenty of opportunity to work on live projects and solve business tasks with co-workers from other business disciplines.
So what would it entail? Simple: a working environment that’s not just about practical skills. At ThyssenKrupp, we also believe in fostering personal development. For us, it’s just as important that people have the confidence to assume responsibility, that people have a solid vocational grounding – qualifications that allow them to maintain faith in their abilities and feel comfortable about voicing their opinion in a team. Sound like the sort of thing you’re looking for? Well, it probably is! We know this because our apprenticeships and training programs have been tailored to the needs of modern society – a further sign that your career is headed in the right direction.
