Student Awards

Once a year, we give the ThyssenKrupp General Engineering Award and Shipbulding Award to particularly gifted students of engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH), the RWTH Aachen and Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Candidates for the award are not only quick and single-minded in completing their studies, they excel in their core courses and during their earlier years of study. After being nominated by the university, students go through a final selection process. Award winners receive between 1500 and 3000 euros – plus ideal support from ThyssenKrupp in the form of a scholarship (see above) as well as the opportunity to experience practical training days in interesting specialist divisions.
