Technische Universität Berlin

Insights from business practice – from a technology company that plays a leading role in many of the areas it works in – can provide a tremendous boost to the productivity of college education. They can also bring real enjoyment to students’ studies and work. ThyssenKrupp is eager to support the process of providing input from industry – through its partnerships with colleges and universities. In Germany, the process is often referred to as “knowledge transfer” and it allows students to get to know ThyssenKrupp as an interesting potential employer.

Activities

Practice-based talks and speeches, as well as factory tours at a variety of companies belonging to the ThyssenKrupp Group form part of the Project Management Course offered by the department of Innovation and Technology Management. The course has the specific aim of allowing students to see the importance of a close relationship between theory and practice.

Activities also include regular lecture series on a broad variety of topics.

Events

Whether it is our Chinese intern program, speeches by experts, careers fairs, or awards for examination excellence – there are always areas of overlap between students at the TU Berlin and ThyssenKrupp.
