Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg
In June 2001, ThyssenKrupp kicked off a far-reaching partnership with the Technischen Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH, Technical University of Hamburg). Spearheading the project are: Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil Edwin Kreuzer, President of TUHH and Dr.-Ing. Herbert Aly, Member of the Executive Board at ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems AG.
This partnership is designed to benefit both TUHH and ThyssenKrupp in a number of ways and areas. The excursions will provide students with insight into ThyssenKrupp subsidiaries, give them the chance to participate in business simulations which will reveal new perspectives for them and improve their performance. ThyssenKrupp, on the other hand, ensures a steady supply of up-and-coming talented engineers driven to succeed and encourages them to take a vested interest in their own future.
