Business Area

At the beginning of the new financial year (2009/2010) the Group’s activities were grouped into eight Business Areas directly linked to ThyssenKrupp AG.

The "Materials" Division consists of the Business Areas Steel Europe, Steel America, Stainless Global and Materials Services. The "Technology" Division consists of the Business Areas Elevator Technology, Plant Technology, Components Technology and Marine Systems.

Business game

Business games are simulations of corporate processes. To actively support an employee’s entry to the profession, ThyssenKrupp offers selected students just about to finish their studies an applicant’s workshop and a business game (TOPSIM, MARGA). The students experience complex scenarios and build up business knowledge by working in small groups.
