Locations

Founded in 1999, ThyssenKrupp AG is a stock corporation under German law. Under its Articles of Association it has two hubs in Duisburg and Essen, though most of its headquarter functions are still  located in Düsseldorf. In mid-2010 the holding has moved to the ThyssenKrupp Quarter in Essen, Germany, which since has been used to house the headquarters. ThyssenKrupp has its own Group representative offices in Berlin, Brussels and more than 30 other locations around the world which support our segments and customers from Washington to Warsaw, Beijing to Bangkok, and Moscow to Mexico City. ThyssenKrupp AG owns, directly or indirectly, more than 800 companies and equity interests in about 80 countries. The Group has a 2,700 production sites, offices and service bases, two thirds of which are located outside Germany. The largest of the 1,200 locations  worldwide is Duisburg, with over 18,000 employees.
