When it comes to building advanced production facilities, the Plant Technology business area has activities around the globe – from individual processes to complete production lines. Its portfolio includes chemical plants, fertilizer production, electrolysis, gas and coking plant technology, polymer processes, refineries, cement plants, and the mining, processing and handling of raw materials. Plant Technology can supply complete plants or individual sections such as equipment for the mineral industry.

How are valuable minerals actually mined and processed? Julia Raab, a process engineer at Uhde GmbH, and her colleagues develop ultramodern production plants to do just this.

The product spectrum is supplemented by the specialist capabilities of ThyssenKrupp System Engineering, which supplies body and final assembly lines to the auto industry as well as turnkey assembly systems including test facilities.
