It is only natural to eagerly await a response once you have submitted your application. But we will have to ask you to be patient with us. Here is why: you went to great lengths to assemble your application, so we want to give ourselves enough time to review it carefully and make a well-informed decision.

The entire application process - starting with the first contact up to the hopefully positive reponse for you - takes around 4 to 6 weeks. Of course you will receive a confirmation of receipt - for an online application within minutes, for an application by mail within days.

Below is a quick overview of the application process to give you an idea of what happens when.  

Applications for a specific opening

• You submit your application
• Our personnel department reviews your application
• Our personnel department draws up a candidate short-list
• If you are a suitable candidate, our personnel department will contact you
• You are invited to an interview
• We use a variety of selection processes to winnow the field
• The department in charge makes a final decision
• As a successful candidate, you sign a contract with us and begin work

Unsolicited applications

• You submit your unsolicited application
• Our personnel department reviews your application
• Your application is forwarded to a central applicants’ pool
• Personnel departments regularly check which applications have come in
• If our personnel department finds a match, they will contact you directly
• You are invited to an interview
• We use a variety of selection processes to determine if there’s a perfect fit
• The department in charge makes a final decision
• As a successfully candidate, you sign a contract with us and begin work
