We have a great opportunity for an experienced Contract Corporate Recruiter to join our team for a long-term assignment. This position will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition. This position will be responsible for high volume recruiting in sales, operations, and corporate positions and requires excellent communication, follow-up, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Candidate must reside in the Alexandria, VA commutable area.

JOB SUMMARY

The Contract Corporate Recruiter will be part of the Talent Acquisition team providing administrative, logistical and recruitment support. This position will proactively pipeline and source candidates, screen resumes, update applicant tracking system, conduct phone screens, and coordinate hiring manager interviews and offer process.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate interview logistics for hiring managers
• Support recruitment/staffing administration duties
• Post jobs on internal/external job boards
• Screen resumes
• Utilize a variety of channels to proactively source candidates
• Conduct Phone screens
• Work closely with team to develop recruiting strategies and understand requisition requirements, matching and recommending candidates that have been sourced to the appropriate requisitions
• Promote inclusion by ensuring diverse candidate sourcing and development of pools for requisitions
• Initiate background screens
• Update applicant tracking system and job seeker status
• Coordinate and support regional college recruitment efforts; including assisting in the development of branded collateral
• Other duties as assigned

Your profile

• High School Diploma/GED, bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years recruiting within a Corporate HR or Talent Acquisition department
• Strong oral and succinct written communication skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to meet target recruitment goals
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to process changes as they arise
• Ability to deal with ambiguity at times and exercise good, timely independent judgment
• Ability to effectively and expeditiously evaluate quality candidates in a high volume environment
• Must possess a positive, optimistic attitude
• Must possess a high level of professionalism, accountability, and confidentiality
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound factual decisions with minimal supervision
