What you should offer as a purchaser

Global purchasing projects and product optimizations. Complex annual contracts and one-off requirements: The jobs and positions in purchasing at thyssenkrupp are as varied as the Group itself. To master these tasks you should generally be able to offer the following:

  • Degree in business administration or a comparable subject
  • Knowledge of procedures and methods in strategic or operational purchasing
  • Negotiating skills and knowledge of contract drafting
  • Knowledge of the sector and the procurement markets
  • Business fluent in English
  • Confident in the use of SAP and MS Office
