As a Group with worldwide operations, thyssenkrupp needs young, talented people, who can think globally, network well, and want to develop the future. This is just what we will prepare you for with our ambitious Corporate Trainee Program “Create (y)our future”.

The Program

Within 18 months, you will personally get to experience different industries and markets. You will become familiar with the entire Group by gaining on-the-ground insight and constantly taking on new operational and strategic challenges. This means that you will have diverse tasks and have the opportunity to work in different departments and at different locations (including internationally), which will provide you with a comprehensive overview of our structures, processes, and most important interfaces within the Group. We will support your personal development, enhance and deepen your existing skills, and systematically prepare you for your target position using a coordinated development concept.

Your wide-ranging practical insight will be supported through various training sessions and courses. Summary: As a trainee, you will develop your potential and skills, thus enabling you to take the first step towards a responsible role as a project manager or as part of the management team.

Your Prospects

After completing the Corporate Trainee Program, you will have reached your first goal. That’s when things really get started. After all, you are incredibly ambitious and always ready to take on new adventures and challenges.

And that is our common goal: To make you fully capable for your first management responsibilities and challenging project tasks. That is why even after the trainee program, you will continue to receive support as part of the mentoring program. Our company offers a wide range of options and opportunities for you. It’s all up to you!

Maybe you want to transfer to another department after two or three years? Or maybe you would like to take your first team leadership assignment abroad? Go ahead! No matter how high or far you want to go, if you have what it takes, you are bound to reach your goal.

IT processes and tools that function well and the digitalization of our business are the central pillars of thyssenkrupp’s economic success as a technology group. That is why developing our young talent in these areas is particularly important to us.

As a corporate trainee in IT Management and Digitalization, you will be actively and directly involved in carrying out IT implementation group programs as well as the standardization of processes and systems. Together with your colleagues, you will be optimizing IT processes and tools along with IT governance structures.

You will be making a significant contribution to our worldwide IT implementation program, from (project) planning to proactive management and creating measures to ensure IT programs and projects are realized successfully..
