Integrated degree program

An apprenticeship and a degree in one? This represents a challenging but very exciting opportunity. The thyssenkrupp integrated degree program, which is available for both technical and business-oriented fields, offers you just such an opportunity. Our partners are mostly technical universities and universities of cooperative education. The Group offers two main models:

  • A combination of apprenticeship and degree studies. This will lead to two qualifications: a state-recognized apprenticeship qualification and an academic degree.
  • Degree studies at a university of cooperative education combined with extended practical phases in companies. This generally leads to one qualification such as a BA.

The advantage for you is that between the theoretical phases of your studies, you’ll complete practical phases that are firmly integrated into your curriculum. These practical phases will allow you to apply what you’ve learned in real life and to extend your knowledge. You’ll be part of the team and involved in operational processes right from the start.

Please note that the listed positions are not offered year-round. You’ll find all current vacancies on our job board.

An internship gives you fascinating insights into the world of thyssenkrupp. A school student internship enables you to experience one of our many professional fields for one to three weeks. This will give you an early opportunity to learn about what knowledge and skills will be important in your future career and to try out your own personal interests and talents in practice.

If you’d like to make your first foray into the working world, please send your application to your desired Group company at least five to six months before you wish to begin your internship. And who knows? Perhaps you’ll be laying the foundation for a future apprenticeship or integrated degree program. When you’re preparing your application, please note that school student internships are allocated and supervised by our subsidiaries themselves. As thyssenkrupp AG will not process unsolicited applications, please send your application directly to our subsidiaries.
