Since 1960 thyssenkrupp has been producing automotive parts in Mexico and now with its expansion to San Miguel de Allende (SMA) the company is manufacturing assembled camshaft modules for the automotive industry. Currently the company is employing 95 employee. As the automotive industry is a major and important sector for Mexico, the company is focusing on various factors for employment satisfaction, because without the input and determination of our employees, success is not possible. Therefore our aspirations as a new employer are to become the best employer in San Miguel de Allende, be an attractive and interesting place to work and set an example of transparent and ethical leadership.

We are thyssenkrupp a diverse team of professionals willing to grow and produce camshafts of the highest quality. We grow, promoting professional roads we give English lessons to every employee that requires it and we train our production people on every machine.

Working

Employee health and safety in the workplace has top priority. Everyone working for thyssenkrupp should be able to do so safely. This is our main priority and it is something we work on every day. We want to reduce the number of accidents by systematically eliminating unsafe conditions and acts, because we know that, on average, for every 30,000 unsafe conditions or acts, a fatal accident occurs. Our vision is clear: "Zero Accidents". To this end, we must methodically identify safety weaknesses and health risks. We must systematically exchange information on how to improve. And we must implement ideas to improve and control its effect.

Because we care about the health of our employees at thyssenkrupp San Miguel De Allende, we offer the group a pleasant, healthy and complementary meals. Our menu entails fresh ingredients such as salad, fruit and vegetables. For the variety every day the menu varies from stew, fish, meat to different kinds of stews. In addition we offer a different soup dish daily, fruit water, a fruit dish and a dessert.

Within the San Miguel de Allende thyssenkrupp plant, there are currently 3 work shifts for operators, represented as follows:

From Monday to Saturday:

The first shift starts at 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
The second shift is 3:45 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.
The third shift is 11:45 p.m. - 7:45 a.m.

12-hour shift:

It's 7:45 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.

For administrative personnel is the following: For those in charge of operations, logistics, maintenance and manufacturing:

From Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. And on Fridays they can enter at 7:00 a.m. and leave at 3:00 p.m.
